Journalism majors at Temple University are put into the field for their senior capstone class. To pass this class you have to show that you’ve learned to do it all: photography, video, information gathering, writing, and editing. For the semester we worked assigned beats. My partner and I covered the Mantua neighborhood of West Philadelphia.
